Our school represents an institution that wants to promote Chinese language and culture. Therefore it is our goal to teach Chinese culture and Chinese language by using practical, standardized and prestigious teaching materials in combination with modern, adapted and successful teaching methods. That way our school promotes the exchange between China and foreign countries and also helps Qionghai with regard to the locals’ foreign language abilities. Our school wants to spread Chinese internationally and also aims at opening up a school that teaches foreign languages in Qionghai. That way students from all backgrounds shall have access to education, and our teaching shall be adapted to their learning abilities.               <p>　The Qionghai Confucius School primarily wants to teach Chinese 
                as a foreign language to those who only come to Hainan for a short 
                period of time. We normally teach in one-to-one lessons or in 
                very small groups, because that way we can satisfy the needs of 
                our students in a better way. As an ultimate goal we want our 
                students to be able to use what they have learned in every-day 
                life. That way what our teachers teach and what our students learn 
                makes absolute sense. Our teaching methods are very interactive, 
                because that way both the students and the teachers can benefit. 
                Our school offers courses in Practical Chinese, Chinese for Volunteers, 
                HSK Chinese, Chinese for travelling, Chinese for years of good 
                harvest, Chinese for Taijiquan, Chinese for Business Purposes, 
                Golf Chinese etc. That way we want to fully satisfy our students’

<h2>Learning outcomes</h2>
<p>　　 Keeping level with the pace of development of the Chinese economy and the increase in China's political muscle, more and more overseas students are attracted to study in China and to study at Pengyue.  Teachers at Pengyue are an important pillar of support for students, not only instructing students in Mandarin but also helping them to resolve any pastoral issues.  Diligent students will be able to speak basic Chinese within a month of study.  Within three months, they will have mastered frequently used everyday phrases and within one year can attain an intermediate level of Mandarin.  Students have happily come to study at Pengyue from Asia, Europe and North America, all returning home satisfied with our teaching experience and professionalism.
