Hainan Foreign Languages not only provides a place for students to study on campus, but also intends to turn all of Hainan Island into a large Chinese classroom, where students can observe, experience and learn all at the same time. As the Chinese proverb says, “Travel a 10,000 li (a Chinese mile) road, and read 10,000 books.” In other words, no matter where you go, never stop learning. Since people learn in order to utilize what they have learned; we use a teaching method that allows students to put to use what they learn, enlarge their horizons and expand their knowledge. For this reason, the university has established an education center here in Hainan, a place abounding with distinctive characteristics, and one which will benefit foreign students greatly as they study Chinese and experience local life. |
