| Hainan Province has two international airports: Haikou's Meilan Airport and Sanya's Phoenix Airport. The distance between these two airports is about 300 km. Hainan Airlines is one of China's three largest airlines, and offers a large number of international and domestic flights. Every day, Hainan Airlines transports tens of thousands of foreign and domestic travelers in and out of Hainan. In addition to taking an international flight directly to one of Hainan's international airports in Haikou and Sanya, foreign students can also fly from their country to many of China's major cities, (e.g. Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, etc.), and then conveniently transfer to a domestic flight and continue on to Hainan. Upon request, foreign students may notify the university concerning their flight number and departure time ahead of time and be greeted at the airport by teachers from our university upon arrival. |
